New Twilight hunk Xavier Samuel has told how he and Robert Pattinson have formed the world’s hottest guitar band. The Australian, who plays bad boy Riley in Twilight: Eclipse, says he plays guitar with his co-stars Pattinson and Jackson Rathbone to help relax. But sadly for Twilight’s legion of female fans, they have no plans to take to the road. Speaking about jamming with Pattinson, Samuel said: “We do play together when we get the chance. Especially Jackson and Rob (Pattinson). They play the guitar but we’re not going to start a boy band or anything like that.” Growing up in Adelaide, Samuel sang with local band Hyatus, then called Degrees of Freedom. But he now wants to concentrate on acting, saying: “I don’t have any aspirations of becoming a musician or a rock star or anything like that but I take the guitar with me because it helps me wind down.” Source: Monsters and Critics
